Most cognac blends stick to grapes and oak — Sephina crosses two Cognac-region traditions instead: 56% VSOP cognac folded into 44% Pineau des Charentes, the region's own fortified wine. It's made at Vinet-Delpech, a family distillery working since 1777, and named in tribute to Josephine Baker, who got her start in Harlem, where Sephina first launched too. Expect prune, dried fruit, and walnut up front, then toasted oak, vanilla, and candied fruit settling into a long, warming finish. Pour it chilled, neat or over ice.
