Half VSOP Cognac, half Pineau des Charentes — Sephina blends the two Charentes classics into something you can actually sip on its own. Made at the Vinet-Delpech distillery, a Cognac-region family house with roots back to 1777, and named for the spirit of Josephine Baker. At 30% ABV it leans sweet but not cloying, with prune, dried fruit and walnut on the nose and toasted oak, vanilla and candied fruit on the palate. Pour it chilled, neat or over ice.
