Borgo Reale - Primitivo Salento Dry Red Wine

Borgo Reale Primitivo takes its name from the Salento district, the well known wine region in southern Italy. This dark cherry red wine with a purple rim shows an intense bouquet, with rich fruitiness with a blend of cherries, raspberries, and blackberry with a touch of spice. A smooth vanilla oakeyness comes from 8 months of aging in oak barrels. The big flavor of this wine is balanced with strong acidity and a smooth finish with its lingering red fruit aftertaste. A superb companion to grilled or roast meats and all spicy cheeses.
