Yebiga - Bela Rakija Serbian Plum Brandy
BELA is made from a 50-50 blend of two types of indigenous plums, and stored in stainless steel. With an abv of 40%, it is a clean, floral beverage, and gentle on the palate. Though abundant with fruit, it is also pleasantly dry and ridiculously easy to drink. Bela is reminiscent of slivovitz from more Northern European neighbors like Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, but with a distinctive nose and taste.
BELA (translated as “white”) is a clear and clean rakija od šljiva (plum rakija) made from a 50-50 blend of hyperlocal, handpicked Čačanska rodna and Čačanska lepotica plums, both native to the region of central/southern Serbia.
Like our PRVA, BELA is a classic rakija procured through rigorously traditional processes, faithful to a heritage that goes back hundreds of years.
