The base of this blend is 6-year-old barrels but it contains older barrels as well. Raw honey drenched Bing cherries atop toasted sweet corn pudding. Hearty Russian Rye toast soldiers sprinkled with sea salt slathered in maple butter and summer fruit compote. The rich and flavorful grains plunge into soft creaminess and recollects state fair caramel popcorn in the finish, belying the 114.8 proof heat.
