TASTE: An oak and sweet taste of cooked agave that has matured in an American oak barrel for 1 year. Once in your mouth, the full cooked agave experience continues in a very soothing way. Butterscotch, caramel, maple, toffee, citrus, and hazelnuts are common flavors identified.
AROMA: Caramel, vanilla, butterscotch, maple and cooked agave aromas practically jump from the glass in this highly-praised and perfectly-aged añejo. This tequila is so rich and complex that some people are even able to detect pineapple, peach, orange blossom, nutmeg, and raisin in the nose.
COLOR: Aged 1 year in American Oak barrels. Clean and bright giving a natural amber color of the barrel.

Tequila is an integral part of my culture and one of the memories that made growing up near Jalisco so special. When I began my journey in the tequila industry 20 years ago, almost all tequilas tasted authentic. Today, many brands are mass-produced, loaded with additives, and promoted by celebrities who lack discernment. The art of making tequila and the authentic flavors I cherish seem to have been lost.
That’s why I founded AgaveLuz! My mission is to bring back the tradition of authentic, organic, small-batch, additive-free tequila.
