Distilled in Nicaragua at the base of the San Cristobal volcano, this rum reflects five generations of the Pellas family's estate craft. Aged four years in used bourbon barrels, then carefully carbon-filtered to strip color while keeping the flavor intact, it took gold at the 2017 International Rum Conference in Madrid. Expect sweet almond and vanilla on the nose, white chocolate and orange essence on the palate, and a dry, clean finish. Light-bodied and additive-free, it's built for a proper Daiquiri or Mojito.
