Chungju rice wine is a traditional Korean alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice. It is named after the city of Chungju in the Chungcheong province of South Korea, where it has been produced for centuries. The production process for Chungju rice wine involves steaming rice and mixing it with water, yeast, and nuruk (a type of fermentation starter). The mixture is then left to ferment for a period of several days to several weeks, depending on the desired strength and flavor of the wine.
We recommend to treat it like white wine and enjoy chilled, served wine glass. Drinking rice wine is an experience that is best enjoyed slowly and savored
