The Singleton of Glendullan 15 Year Old Scotch Whisky comes from both Pedro Ximenez Oloroso seasoned casks and refill ex-bourbon casks that have been hand-selected for their sweet notes and fresh fruit intensity. Winner of Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2020. Luscious nectar. Soft cooked apples, luscious brown sugar and hints of creamy toffee.
Tasting notes
Nose: Soft vanilla and sawdust as it opens, leading on to notes of dried fruit and mixed nuts.
Palate: Drying at first with oak and cinnamon, before hints of fresh apple and caramelised pear bring a juiciness to the palate.
Finish: A very subtle touch of smoke develops underneath toffee and blueberry on the finish.
