Like many stories ours begins with the apple

Naturally, as apple lovers, surrounded by apple orchards, our spirits are made from apples. New York is the second largest apple producer in the United States, home to more than 700 apple orchards. For Upstate vodka, using 16 and 18 plates, 2-column stills, the hard cider is distilled only twice. We keep the number of distillations to a minimum to retain the natural essence of our ingredients. With distillation, more does not always equal better, as each distillation can strip away more of the original character of a spirit.

Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria

Ingredients

• 1 750ml bottle of dry white wine
• 6 cups of Sparkling wine
• 1 cup Upstate Vodka
• ¼ cup Ginger Liqueur

Method

Wash and dice apples and place in a punch bowl.  Pour all other ingredients over the apples and add ice to chill.  Tip: for parties or large gatherings, don’t put the ice in the punch. Serve over ice in the glass. Enjoy
