This strong-aroma Sichuan style comes from Luzhou Laojiao, one of China's oldest continuously operating distilleries, where locally grown red sorghum ferments in earthen pits seeded with native Luzhou yeast, gets pot-distilled in small batches, then rests up to two years before blending.
