Overview

This whisky is matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon or ex-sherry American oak casks. Light amber in colour, it has a fresh, clean nose with floral and smoky notes. The palate is smooth and sweet, with hints of orange peel and honey, accompanied by a pleasantly long and persistent heather finish.
Tasting notes

The aromatic profile is assertive yet welcoming, sweetish yet cereal dry, and oaky yet floral and a touch briny; the quintessential 12-year-old malt bouquet. In the mouth, the integrated flavors come in waves of toasted walnut, dark caramel, toasted marshmallow and barely perceptible seaweed.
