Overview

Discover Casamigos Mezcal, crafted from 100% Espadin agave in Oaxaca, Mexico. Distilled by a 4th generation family of Mezcaleros, this artisanal mezcal embodies a deep commitment to traditional methods and superior quality. Each step in making Casamigos Mezcal, from harvesting to distillation, reflects a time-honored approach. Agave pinas are split and slow-cooked in earthen pits lined with volcanic rocks, imparting the signature smoky flavor. After cooling, the agave is crushed using a traditional Tahona wheel and ferments for 6-8 days before being double distilled in copper pot stills. Crystal clear, Casamigos Mezcal boasts a fragrant aroma of herbal and fruity notes with subtle smoke. The palate is a balanced mix of tamarind, pomegranate, mint, and black pepper, finished with a smooth, smoky touch. Perfect for sipping neat or enhancing refined cocktails, Casamigos Mezcal delivers a smooth, distinctive experience, ideal for any occasion calling for artisanal refinement.

Absolutely Worth Trying

"I will be the first to say that I am new to mezcal drinking, but this cannot possibly receive one star. Straight drinks have a wonderful balance of smoke and are very smooth. There isn't much depth, but the tail does have some heat. Is the bottle worth a ninety dollars? No. Am I sorry I gave it a shot? Again, no. The bottle is very gorgeous and looks fantastic on the bar."

It's definitely worth a shot.

"I will confess that I am new to mezcal drinking, but there is no way this deserves one star. Straight drinks are quite smooth and have a decent amount of smoke. Despite having little depth, the tail does contain some heat. Is the bottle really worth $100. 00? No. Do I regret having tried it? And no. The bottle is gorgeous and looks excellent on the bar."

Drive-up Delivery

"It was ready when I was a block away from my house, which is around 45 minutes away, which was incredibly convenient. I placed the order as I was leaving my house. Having places that are so welcoming during these times is wonderful. They took it to my car after I texted them while I was outside."

Fantastic, but Expensive

"Excellent drinking characteristics. Since this is the Islay of tequilas, it contains all the typical smoky aromatic nuances. Although expensive, staying here is now less expensive and healthier than moving south."

If you're not naturally a fan of mezcal. . .

"Try this one on for size if you don't really love mezcal (I certainly don't). Alcohol fire and smoke are not overpowering; it is perfectly balanced. I can drink this straight up and I'm addicted."

If you're not naturally a fan of mezcal. . .

"Try this one out if you don't necessarily enjoy mezcal (as I don't at all). It's beautifully balanced and neither the alcohol fire nor the smoke are overbearing. I love this and can drink it straight up."

The flavor is good, Hands down!

"Smooth. The bouquet is beautiful. The palate is pleasing. No after effects next morning with two shots night before. lovely bottle design"

Excellent, rich, and complex flavor

"This was a touch pricey here but I'm very delighted with it, and I bought it a month ago. value it. cd a With the addition of a drop of water, the smell becomes smoky, savory, and rich."

Nothing too fancy

"Always thought of this mezcal as the tried and true variety. Just fancy enough, but not overly so. And always pleasant and smoky like it ought to be."

Crisp and Smokey

"This MEZCAL is fantastic! (With example, don't mistake mezcal for tequila. ) Do some study first if you have any questions about mezcal or if you believe it to be tequila before continuing. Be wary of remarks made by people who mistakenly believed this to be tequila and were let down by its smoky flavor. It has a powerful smokey flavor that delivers for those who appreciate the pleasures of mezcal, therefore give these kinds of reviews as much credit as "this is the worst vodka ever!" My wife's family in Mexico typically gives me recommendations for mezcal. Due to my enjoyment of Casamigos tequilas, I decided to venture out on my own with this mezcal, and it did not disappoint. Any unfavorable reviews, in my opinion, were written by people who similarly enjoyed Casamigos but failed to notice that the label said "MEZCAL" rather than "Tequila. " Although I prefer it neat, it makes an excellent substitute for tequila in a Paloma for those looking for something a little more energizing that softens the strong flavor. I have some other favorites at greater prices, but I don't like to pick apart other people's finances. For those wishing to broaden their mezcal palette, this is a reliable and secure option."
