2022 CAMUS VSOP Limited Edition by Malik Roberts pays homage to Brooklyn culture: highlighting references from the iconic sights of the city and its people, presenting the scene of an elegantly dressed couple showcasing the emotions of enjoying a drink of Camus VSOP with the view of Brooklyn Bridge and more. Camus VSOP Limited Edition is presented with the deepest floral aromas in the category. Featuring in its blend some of the best eaux-de-vie from the Borderies Cru, it distinguishes for the high level of Terpenols, resulting into unmatched aromas of fine flowers. All the barrels used for the ageing are exclusively “fine grain” and low in tannins, thanks to the peculiar ‘French Light Toasting’ process, allowing to balance oakiness with fresh floral and fruity notes.

Tasting notes

CAMUS VSOP is an Intensely Aromatic Cognac, distinguished by its pronounced floral notes. The research on this product derives from a wide use of wines from Borderies cru, whose high content in terpenols due to a unique soil composition rich in chalk and flint stones contributes to elegant yet deep notes of white flowers and citrus blossoms.

• Wines distilled with the lees: only the finest wines are selected and kept unfiltered, to extract their aromaenhancing components.

•,.Unique distillation process: exclusively hand distilled in small copper pot stills, using a highly precise, non-automated technique, to preserve the distillate’s most aromatic elements.

• 100% small cask aging: matured in lightly toasted small, fine grain barrels, to ensure a deeper reaction of the eaux-de-vie with the wood.

Malik Roberts, The Artist

Malik Roberts (b. 1990, Brooklyn, NY) is a Brooklyn based painter and multimedia artist creating deconstructed portraits with controversial contemporary subjects, which explore the relationship between visual culture and reality today. Roberts often works with images and conventions recognizable from the media, that combines the influences of modern and pop art, the artist’s sophisticated compositions provoke engagement, inviting the viewer to consider the impact of visual media on the consumption of ideas in the Digital Age.

The Packaging

Presenting scenes all too familiar, the artist invites new ways of visualizing. The inspiration derives from a scene in a beautiful Dumbo, Brooklyn apartment, where a couple sits to enjoy an elegant drink of Camus VSOP after work or a night out. In the window one can make out the view of the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, and on the wall’s artwork of Brooklyn landmarks and New York culture including a metro card, subways sign, Soldiers and Sailors Arch at Grand Army plaza, and many more.
