Reviews

Flavorful Yet Fluid

"Despite the steep price, this whiskey won't let you down. The taste is incredibly smooth, unlike the Macallan 18 or even the 21 year, which lack the super blackness or light hue of the 15 year. The packaging and appearance are stunning. Even if there is no year label, you can tell you are experiencing high-quality drink because it is in the middle."

Most Economical Premium Mac

"For the money, I much like this to the 25 and 18. I ordered this in a restaurant, and it was delivered in a standard, unimpressive rocks glass, yet I could still smell every flavor there. giant bomb of sherry. Chocolates, mixed sweet fruits, nuttiness, honey, and syrup (perhaps maple). The nose has no alcohol at all. This NAS is definitely storing some older content. The palate has some viscosity and a swish of sparkle. The aftertaste is extremely long and is both sweet and peppery. Amazing stuff. 100/100"

" It Seems Like The Ideal Gift! "

"I did some homework before buying this Rare Cask. On the internet, Tipxy offered some of the best pricing and excellent dependability reviews. When I went to pick it up, the service was nice. When my son-in-law's first child is born in about a week, I can't wait to give it to him."

Pyeone Z. (5/5)

This whisky has a tasty flavor.

"Amazing taste, hefty cost, but well worth it. Will purchase both for personal use and as a gift. The sweetness is present but not overwhelming (unlike for me). Along with the light sherry, I can also detect raisin and chocolate in the background."

Stepano M. (5/5)

High Value Price but Top-notch drink

"The fact that it tastes light masks the fact that it impacts hard. It's too excellent to keep to yourself, so the bottle quickly runs dry. Excellent right away; does not require aeration."

Wish It Were Less Expensive, But So Good!

"Rare cask is pricey, but Tipxy offers it better than anywhere else in town, in my opinion. Although you may get it cheaper online from the UK, delivery will cost you a fortune. However, in regards to the review. I wholeheartedly endorse it if you can scrounge together the funds or credit. Here, we're dealing with a mouthwatering sherry monster. It possesses the nearly syrupy/oily quality that Macallan is known for with its excellent first fill sherry oak cask output. When you discover that the liquid level in the bottle is somehow a tiny bit lower than you anticipated on a particular evening ("but I didn't have that much," you may be thinking!!! ), you know you have an excellent scotch. Imagine the money passing through your lips, and that might slow down you a bit."

Well worth the money!

"I've been drinking The Macallan for a while now, primarily in the 12 to 15 year range, but I've even sipped on some 22 and 23 year vintage Kirkland bottles. Because of all the positive evaluations, I decided to spend money on the Rare Cask. It's just as smooth and delicious as the Kirkland single malts, if not more so. The Rare Cask must be the Bugatti as I had read that The Macallan 18 year was the Rolls Royce. Although I can't guarantee it, I'll advise that if you have the means to do one, aim for the Rare Cask. It's just as enjoyable as people claim it to be. Life is good with just a dash of water in a snifter. . ."

Purchased a bottle. It Was so great. . .

"I told the bar owner and my favorite bourbon server about it. They were equally as enamored as I was. Better and more affordable than Macallan 21. . . Gives Macallan 25 a Strong Run. It is a bargain and better than worth the money. . ."

Moobon B. (5/5)

Scotch is awesome, easily digestable.

"Even by the high standards of the Macallan, this whisky is one of my all-time favorites.  Drink slowly and take pleasure in the smooth flavor that eventually smacks you like a hammer."

Faucher A. (5/5)

Incredible Scotchist single malt

""Absolutely outstanding, incredibly smooth, with an endlessly buttery finish.  Worth every penny, highly recommended for both seasoned and novice Scotch drinkers."
