WhistlePig - Summerstock Pit Viper Limited Edition Rye Whiskey
WhistlePig and Pit Viper have teamed up to take the season by the tail, ham it up, and free pour a glass to our favorite star - the sun. We're proud to be 100% solar powered at the WhistlePig Farm and Distillery, and created this Limited Edition SummerStock Whiskey to celebrate.
A blend of Wheat and Rye Whiskeys finished in a toasted barrel solara, this laid-back, summer sipper is made to enjoy after sunny adventures all season long. Pair with Pit Vipers to sip with style and performance. A portion of proceeds from the WhistlePig SummerStock Whiskey and Pit Viper SummerStock Sunglass duo will be donated to Everybody Solar.
Nose – Rambunctious and funky! Wow, the wheat whiskey in this blend really jumps out of the glass with bright layers of toasty oak, honey, and whitefruits. There’s a background kick of rye spice as well.
Taste – Sweet and soft. Maple butter, sweet cream, a dash of berries, and even a nice layer of spice on the back.
Finish – Ultimately, this is sweet and lightly savory all in one, but does maintain a bit of spice as well.
