Wolfburn - It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This limited-release bottling has been created to get the festive season off to a cracking start. Crafted from Wolfburn’s signature smooth, sweet spirit, matured for a shade over eight years, it is the product of a marriage of two types of cask: Oloroso Sherry hogsheads and first-fill Bourbon barrels. ‘Tis the season to be merry – we hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoyed producing it.
ON THE NOSE: Sweet Sherry notes mix with hints of dried fruit. Aromas of vanilla follow, and there’s just a hint of coffee and dark chocolate.
ON THE PALATE: Juicy and mouthwatering. Rich toffee and syrup flavors lead the way, with overtones of cocoa and vanilla. Fruity sweetness coats the palate, with Autumn fruit and honey notes leading to a warm, soft finish.
FINISH: Vanilla notes gently fade away with a lovely trace of caramel at the end.
