Whiskey Row - Straight Bourbon Honey Hole Selection
Sweet and crisp flavors distilled from Ohio Valley corn mellowed with the essence of vanilla and caramel, maple syrup, naturally extracted from new charred oak barrels for an authentic honey hole expression. Whiskey Row Bourbon is a blend of small batch barrels that mirrors many of those early recipes so that you may enjoy the same flavors that our ancestors did. Non-chill filtered and aged for at least 4 years in new charred oak barrels.
Nose: Very sweet with caramel and butterscotch notes with some floral notes that could be lilacs.
Taste: Corn husk with notes of butterscotch and cherries. The dried cranberry gave it a thin mouth-feel with lots of corn and cherries. The pecan made it taste of buttered toffee popcorn.
Finish: Short with a hint of sweet oak. The dried cranberry had lingering ripe apple and oak. The pecan brought out sweet oak and cinnamon spice.
