North Fork Project - Merlot Red Wine

A collaboration between Martin Scott Wines and Pellegrini Vineyards, the North Fork Project is designed to introduce a wider audience to the potential of North Fork wines and in particular, the terroir of Cutchogue, Long Island. Produced in a sustainable manner, the wines are made from estate grown Pellegrini fruit. These high quality, food friendly wines are approachably priced in one liter bottles and intended to celebrate the every day.

Mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Franc blended in, this wine presents aromas of black cherry, vanilla and toast; flavors of dark chocolate, cherry and slight hints of oak are well integrated with structured tannins. A joint effort from Long Island's Pellegrini Vineyards and importer/distributor Winebow.
