Hakutsuru - Saho-une Junmai Daiginji Sake
The taste of a daiginjo isn’t one that is easily forgotten. Hakutsuru’s Sho-Une Daiginjo is no exception. The slightly dry, full-bodied saké with velvety smoothness drinks like a dream. Soft aromas of pear give way to flickers of white peach and grapes in this wonderfully complex daiginjo.
Enjoyment: Perfect on its own, but if you want a classic Japanese experience then try it with delicately cut fresh sashimi over sweet rice.
Using only the finest rice Yamada-Nishik and Nada's famed natural spring water Miyamizu SHO-UNE has been brewed as the Supreme of Japanese Sake. This graceful Sake with fruity scents, very slight touch of sweetness and velvety smoothness can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature.
Straw color. Aromas of ripe melon, shiso, grapefruit zest, pear, rainwater, elderflower, caraway, and star anise with a velvety, lively, fruity full body and a layered, long apricot and teriyaki finish.
