Dràm Mòr presents a Linkwood single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel for a decade before it was bottled at a cask strength of 56.8% ABV with natural colour and without chill filtration. There were just 243 bottles of this one.
Tasting notes
Nose: Fiery and peppery with pear drops and nail polish that softens into old oak furniture.
Palate: So buttery and gentle, almost melts into the mouth, so very different from the nose.
Finish: Cacao to start that slowly changes into a warm vanilla, drifting back to the cacao and finishing on a rich malty note that lingers much longer than it has any right to.
