Tasting notes

Youthful, cherry red color with violet reflections. On the nose, red fruits like strawberries and blackberries burst out of the glass. On the palate it is fresh, fleshy, with volume and roundness. The finish is long and spicy with peppery flavors.

The Winemaker

Mrs. Soledad López decided to work as a laboratory assistant during the 2002 harvest at Bodegas Campos Reales. Once she finished her laboratory work, Soledad got fully involved in fermentations and other production processes. Then in 2013, she took over the reins as winemaker for Campos Reales and she created Atril Bio. The biologist turned vintner has a phrase that summarizes her winemaking ideology: “Oenology is the ability to introduce history, magic and passion all into a bottle.”
