​Mendoza’s unique terroir factors result from its privileged location at the foot of the Andes Mountains. They include extremely low annual precipitation, a wide diurnal temperature variance in summer featuring hot days followed by very chilly nights, and mixed alluvial, sandy and stony soils with excellent drainage, ideal for high-quality winemaking.
